QAPCO awards top achievers during Employee Motivation Scheme Ceremony

Doha, Qatar – 21 January 2016: With the aim of honoring and recognizing the outstanding achievements and work excellence of its staff, Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) Q.S.C., a leading regional petrochemical powerhouse and a pioneer in petrochemical production, recently held its annual Motivation Scheme Awards ceremony.

Since 2007, it has been an important tradition for QAPCO Management to say thank you to its employees through the annual Motivation Scheme. During the event, which was held at QAPCO’s sports and recreational Club in Mesaieed, 2‫00 top achievers were awarded in recognition of their excellent performance and contribution towards achieving the company’s business objectives.

Dr. Mohammed Yousef Al-Mulla, Managing Director & CEO of QAPCO and Qatofin, highlighted that employee recognition is embedded in the company’s corporate culture and that it is an ongoing, all year round process but pointed out that the Motivation Scheme is the occasion to take a moment to reflect upon our employees’ remarkable accomplishments. He stated, “Our employees are at the heart of everything we do and enable us to reach our full potential. Every achievement of QAPCO is firmly rooted in the expertise of our highly motivated and talented human resources. Our employees define our success. He continued, “As a pioneer in our industry, we have continuously and relentlessly built the strengths that would power us forward. All our successes have been made possible thanks to our employees. Resilience is in our DNA. At QAPCO and Qatofin, thanks to our exceptional teams, we always challenge ourselves to reach higher and perform better.”

After a rigorous nomination, evaluation and selection process, the top performers and exceptional contributors for the year were awarded during the Motivation Scheme. In his speech on this occasion, Dr. Al-Mulla expressed his gratitude and admiration to the awardees and stated, “At QAPCO, we are blessed to count so many fantastic achievers. I am honored to celebrate today some of our strongest and most active contributors. Many of our awardees went the extra mile, made value-adding suggestions and led projects successfully. They are to be commended for their performance and we compliment then on a job well done. We salute you for your professional approach and are proud to have you as part of our staff.”
