QAPCO wins the Aggie Award for 2011

Doha, Qatar – 3 October 2011: During the Texas A&M’s annual Shukran awards, QAPCO was awarded the prestigious Aggie Awards, for extending the greatest support to Texas A&M University during the previous year.

The event is held annually to recognize and thank Texas A&M’s partners within the industry government and the local community who have supported the university within the last year. This included over 80 companies and individuals from Qatar and the GCC.

The event was attended by the Executives and leaders from all of the working sectors in Qatar. Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Deputy Prime and Chief of the Emiri Diwan, and the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and industry and Eng. Hamad Bin Rashid Al Muhannadi, QAPCO’s Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ras Gas Managing Director, along with a group of top executives from the deferent sectors.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Mulla, Vice Chairman and CEO of QAPCO, commented on the event, saying, “This ceremony marks another milestone in the history of collaboration and cooperation between QAPCO and Texas A&M University at Qatar. Under the direction of HE Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry, and the guidance of Eng. Hamad Rashid Al-Mohannadi, QAPCO Chairman, QAPCO will continue to develop strong and strategic partnerships with the educational institutions in Qatar. We intend to continue supporting such great educational and R&D Institutes”
