Doha, Qatar – 27 May 2012: QAPCO is proud to announce that it has won the coveted “Best Nationalization Friendly Initiative” Award at the 4th Annual GCC HR Excellence Awards 2012. The Awards Ceremony, which took place at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort, Dubai, is an annual event, which recognizes excellence in HR practices and has been designed to honor both individuals and organizations.
The month of May has been very successful for QAPCO as this latest award closely follows the Energy and Industry Sector’s Annual Qatarization Review meeting where the Company were honored to receive the Qatarization Crystal for Supporting Qatarization by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry,and Chairman & Managing Director of Qatar Petroleum.
Dr. Mohamed Al Mulla, QAPCO’s CEO spoke of his delight at this latest achievement “The GCC HR Excellence Awards have been designed to honor and recognize premier organizations that continually demonstrate best practice procedures in the field of HR. It is therefore a proud moment for us to receive this Award as it recognizes all the hard work that has been achieved by the QAPCO family throughout the past year. It also demonstrates our commitment to Qatarization and in particular our support of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 which has placed the development of local talent as a top priority and remains for QAPCO a key goal for the future.”
