E-MAIL SCAM WARNING

QAPCO has become aware of a number of malicious attempts to impersonate QAPCO staff by e-mail, by sending business proposals and other offers to business people in various parts of the world.

Please note that this is not how QAPCO does business. Such messages do not get sent from QAPCO or by any of our staff. They are social engineering attempts to extract and harvest information, which could be used for fraud and illegal activities at a later stage.

FRAUDULENT JOB OFFERS

Fake recruitment emails or social media posts use the QAPCO name and logo to defraud recipients. These fraudulent advertisements offer fake employment opportunities and ask for personal information and/or payments in advance for hire.

Please be aware that QAPCO, its affiliates, and its accredited recruitment agencies, do not charge candidates any fees whatsoever at any part of the recruitment process.

All correspondence by email from QAPCO is from an email address ending with @qapco.com.qa. If you receive an email from another address it may not be an authentic communication from the QAPCO Recruitment Section.

QAPCO will not accept liability, under any circumstances, for loss and/or damage resulting from these unauthorized advertisements, whether direct or consequential.

Any misuse or misleading misrepresentations of the QAPCO name or logo should be reported immediately to info@qapco.com.qa


FAKE ADVERTISING SCAMS

In addition to fraudulent recruitment emails and posts, fake letters are known to have been circulated to QAPCO suppliers and vendors requesting advertising support for special publications celebrating QAPCO milestones.

The letters contain the QAPCO name and logo, as well as the signatures of QAPCO officials, and invites companies to advertise.

We would like to formally warn you that this letter is a forgery and an organized Internet scam with an agenda to obtain money from unsuspecting businesses.

If you receive similar suspicious letters, fraudulent recruitment offers, or e-mails using the name and logo of QAPCO, but coming from a domain other than @qapco.com.qa, please contact info@qapco.com.qa immediately.
