Doha, Qatar – 16 Oct 2017 – In association with the “Blood Donor Center” of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) Q.S.C., the leading regional petrochemical powerhouse, organized a blood donation campaign.
The mobile units of HMC recently visited both QAPCO’s headquarter in Doha and the plant in Mesaieed. The campaign themed around “Give Blood, Save Lives” was a real success and received a strong response.
The blood you give is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments. Many people would not be alive today if donors had not generously given their blood. Donating blood not only benefit the person who received the blood cells but also improve the health of the donor.
