Doha, Qatar – QAPCO Management is looking to bring the best approaches to cultivate safety into a part of our organizational DNA.
To that extent, QAPCO has launched a highly innovative Situational Awareness initiative that will generate important performance benchmarking and insights to identify opportunities to improve both safety programs HPS & SALAMAH.
The initiative involved 700 of our site staff going through a short 40-minutes training session (which involves using Virtual Reality devices) to go through a safety journey that is converted into advanced analytics to evaluate current safety awareness within QAPCO. The test will be repeated in 6 months to track progress, as Situational Awareness is a cornerstone of a sustainable safety culture.
