Doha, Qatar – QAPCO has once again been recognized by the Energy Sector for our outstanding contribution to the Education Sector in Qatar with Dr. Mohammed Al Mulla, our MD & CEO receiving the Annual Qatarization Crystal Award for our efforts in ‘Supporting and Liaising with the Education Sector’ during 2019.
The award was confirmed by His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and CEO of Qatar Petroleum.
The Education Sector within Qatar plays a vital role in the future of Qatar, that is why this award remains special to QAPCO as it recognizes the hard work, support and commitment that is demonstrated throughout the year by all Employees to the many students and academics that visit us in Mesaieed and Doha. It also acknowledges the many outreach programs that we support within the Education Sector such as the Engineering week with Qatar University, the STEM Roadshow with Texas A & M and our Math Roadshow with Teach For Qatar.
The many visits that our Qatari Ambassadors make to schools to promote Engineering and to raise awareness about QAPCO ensures that there will always be a special link between QAPCO and the Education Sector. With our dedication to supporting Research and Development and through the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines in Universities, Colleges and Schools we aim to prepare the young citizens of Qatar to become the engineers and scientists of the future.
